Asoke is a perfect neighborhood with the best of both worlds. Upper north of Sukhumvit road or Wattana district with many high-end hotels and office buildings, but you can also experience the local homey vibes with tons of cafes and shops. On top of easy access to both BTS and MRT lines, Asoke is literally the best place to live.

The most exciting neighborhood award goes to Asoke as the area is bustling with people rushing throughout the day from office workers, to students, to tourists all at once. The dynamic of this district is definitely one-of-a-kind. Along with the super-convenient way to travel around the city, the hub connection of skytrain and subway line and just a little bit further from the airport rail link, we might need better terms of ‘Easy Access’ for this neighborhood.

Shopping Malls 

  • Terminal 21 

Located between both BTS and MRT stations, Terminal 21 is everything you need in a shopping mall. Easy to travel to and plenty of activities to do there from shopping to dining and the most important part, taking photos! The design was created to reflect major landmarks around the world. 

Landmarks and Business Districts 

  • Srinakharinwirot University

    A public university that is commonly known for its location in Central Bangkok, Srinakharinwirot University has a total of 8 different campuses around Thailand. But Asoke or Prasanmitr is the primary and most famous campus that a lot of high school students want to get into. 
  • Benjakitti Park

    The first forest public park of Bangkok to honor Queen Sirikit 72nd Birthday, the park itself is located literally at the center with the connecting of two MRT stations; Queen Sirikit Convention Center and Sukhumvit station and one BTS station of Asoke.

Restaurants and Bars

  • Soi Cowboy

    The most popular go-to bars in Bangkok. Soi Cowboy is only 150 meters short but full with over 40+ bars and mid-scale hotels nearby. It is one of the most nightlife districts to visit among tourists and expats.

How to get to Asoke 

By Public Transportation 

A very well connected skytrain and subway, you can easily access Asoke or Sukhumvit Road within just a short time. The station with the same name as the neighborhood Asoke station is one of the popular stations along BTS Sukhumvit line. And the subway or MRT Sukhumvit is also just a few walks away. 

By Car

Not only is it a connecting hub between skytrain and subway, but also a perfect connection of two major roads of Bangkok as Asoke Montri and Ratchadapisek. You can head north from Asoke to upper Sukhumvit in Wattana district or take a turn to Ratchadapisek road, another famous neighborhood with condominiums and shopping malls. 

Asoke’s upcoming landmarks 

Singha Complex was one of the phenomenal real estate markets in the Asoke neighborhood.
