There is also a wide wooden ladder leading to a doorway at the upper level. This accesses a studio apartment, which can also be reached via a standard exterior staircase to the rear of the second bedroom. The apartment is self-contained and equipped with a two-ring electric hob with extractor hood, a sink and a small fridge, a double wardrobe, a seating/sleeping area with two cream sofa beds and an en-suite bathroom. This is an excellent escape for holiday makers, or an independent guest-suite for long-term guests.
